今シーズンのリーグ戦で35ゴールを記録しているイブラヒモヴィッチは、チームメイトのアルゼンチン代表MFアンヘル・ディ・マリア、ニース所属のフランス人MFハテム・ベン・アルファ、マルセイユ所属のフランス代表MFラサナ・ディアラを抑えて同賞に選出された。
なお、イブラヒモヴィッチにとってはこれがリーグ・アン在籍4シーズンで3度目のMVP受賞。3年連続受賞がかかっていた昨シーズンはリヨンに所属するフランス代表FWアレクサンドル・ラカゼットが選出されていた。
そのほか、最優秀若手選手にはレンヌ所属のフランス人FWウスマン・デンベレ、最優秀GKにはマルセイユ所属のフランス代表GKスティーヴ・マンダンダ、最優秀監督にはパリ・サンジェルマンのローラン・ブラン監督が選ばれている。
