      Underwhelming signing imo. The guy couldn’t even get a game at a Championship team towards the end of the season and we are spending £4 million on him? The fee is a joke given that he hasn’t improved since he went to Liverpool, yet the get 8x what they paid for him. We aren’t annoyed at spending money, but more so when we are spending more than a player is worth.

      Hopefully I’m wrong, but I’d prefer to take a punt on someone from abroad that could have more resale value, or give someone like King more game time. It seems like we have just spent £4 million on a mediocre Championship player to me.

      I agree with your assessment that the shape of the team will alter/progress over the course of the season. I could actually envisage a central back 3 with Lundstrum or Jack playing in front of them – freeing up Tav and Borna to attack those wings and if so desired, almost play as midfield players should we require to push or fall back to defence if we are under fire.

      I've never seen him play, but Celtic wanted him & Liverpool took him. So chances are he's a good signing, I hope we actually sign a LB though & don't think Davies can play there so it's ok.

      Talking about him getting red cards after coming to us when he's never had any as though there isn't already clear evidence of that with Ryan Jack.

      Golston caused a barrol of mistakes last year…… So totally disagree… 4..mill… To keep him on parr.. He held out for a club.. NO One made any offer. … My… OPINION… AND IF I CAN'T HAVE AN OPINION ON YOUR CHANNEL… SO BE IT. BUT GOOD CONTENT M8.

      These sort of questions are daft to be honest. I get the thing about hope and promise of a new signing. But to speculate on any player doing and that is really daft. You just sit back and wait.

      he jumps jack simpson? CJ, matie, buddy, pal, stevie frickin wonder and ray speedy charles automatically jump jack bloody simpson. id sooner play my 7 year old daughter than simpson and shes only started to play football a matter of months

      i think we’ll really find out what Gio can do this season….in a good way 💙 liverpool have put a lot of time into Davies.Bassey and Aribo were one offs not replaceable .

      Now I know which Ben Davies we've got😂 . This guy looks to fix the missing LCB postion GIO fixed last season wae our academy LB Bassey. He could see somethin in Bassey no-one else could. His protege made such rapid improvement he just smashed the club transfer fee . Bringing in Davies he will greatly improve his game and our transfer wonga.great signing.

      the rangers manager VAN the man. Left seven voicemail messages on AaRON MOOYs phone, telling him he wanted to sign him. Of course they were ignored, as he was signing with the Champions. So RANGERS fans hush.
