To be totally honest, I don’t care if I am not aware of any potential incoming players, all I would expect is that he has been scouted to fit our style of play and that he fit’s into our dressing room mentality. You have got to believe David Moyes, Rob Newman and the rest of the back room staff do their job and we stop bringing in player’s that just ‘sit on the bench’.

Bit disappointing if we are only looking at this guy because he is good at long passing. Listen no disrespect to Moyes but all he seems to know is long passing & set-pieces. It's boring negative football and other teams will know what we are trying to do. Moyes just can't expect us to score goals from set-pieces and long passing the whole time.

As a Moroccan myself here to see what others think about him but I can say this bit myself.
He’s an indespensable base player in national team and club, he rarely misses a game and works hard to keep his best form.
He’s pretty fast for a CB, agile, great header and clearances and above all he’s a very technical CB who isn’t afraid of well timed tackles.
He was voted one of the top 5 CB’s in ligue 1 for 2 seasons in a row and I hope he’ll be able to prove himself if it gets to a transfer to West Ham, you might want to keep an eye out for him in the upcoming game of Morocco-USA
He is quite fast actually, you should watch his last minute save against Salah, he crossed half the field faster than Salah and saved the ball on the line
