      its also difficult for inaki cause bilbao ONLY plays basque players so if he switches its gonna end his career there and prolly gonna be seen as kind of betrayal in a sense

      chris hughton is unattached,he has observed and worked with the team now why not appoint him? the coach needs to start work immediately in building his team a philosophy by playing matches we dont have time

      Excuse my language but it all bollocks. No country can force a player to play for them let alone European FA's. Ones the player wants to play for another country they're eligible to, the country will have no choice. They'll never frustrate any player unless there're issues pertaining to legalities which I doubt in the case of players we're targeting. It just formalities. Denis Odoi took long because the new FA was probably not interested until Otto Addo requested for his inclusion.

      It is not just about assembling stars but rather team chemistry, commitment, passion to die supplemented with quality can take us far. This is what we used against the Nigerians. We need quality additions but not unpatriotic players whom we think they have quality but may not give their all, especially as we are begging them to play.

      forget inaki he feels Spanish. He can't even speak English how will he communicate in the black stars team? Gfa should go after semenyo and nketiah for strikers

      It's a fat lie. I work on such cases with modules sports consult. The players say is final. I won't play for country A, etc. That's it. The regular correspondence between the association, fifa will be resorted and if the affirmation from the player and in most instances the family remains same. Fifa will simply regularise the switch. Where from all these it will take years and all of that. It only takes years because apparently the player has asked his mother association to give the transitioning a second and until that – the association will wait and confirm otherwise the nationality switch endorsement. It is never by or with any shred of authority the doing of the association to delay a switch. That's not true Henry Twum.We understand the strategies to take public pressure on specific discussion of player switch. But that should come with miseducation. Teach the masses facts. Kids are learning. So unLearn the false PR.

      It seems the association want to appoint Otto addo at all cost and bring in the players they want and not what is best for the country because I don't see why they are finding it difficult to give the team to Chris.

      This guy is kidding you are looking for a coach in September whilst the world cup is in November . You are not serious. All the nations already have their coaching department ready. The Ghana decease is showing up again. Always last minute decision.

      If we keep dragging our feet, some other rich African country will snatch Chris Houghton (who is currently available) from under our noses.. South Africa is one such country that has the funds.. hmm we sit and watch

      Those long time he's talking about is not right, FIFA has a time frame in settling this issue once you qualify to play for a particular country and you want to play for that country, no country can delay your switch just for their gain. It all depends on the new appointed coach if he needs those players for his game plan. So is good they get a new coach. But for Twum to say it takes three years, he's not the only person reading the FIFA rules, we all football fans and we are following the football game as ghanaians. They should appoint a new coach and also help him to get the players he wants.

      We need a coach like Otto Addo that does not fear players and substitute players for the good of the whole country. His support is perfect. This is how to win world cup. Everybody could be replaced if they don't do well in a certain match.
