His strength is no joke. Hardly lose the ball . His passing is precise and eventhough he a little bit slow but his dribbling make it up for his lack of pace.
Macca should only play as 10, and Szoboszlai should be the other pivot (as 6 and 8 at the same time) of Gravenberch. But Slot trust Macca more because the position need football brain which few have and Szobo doesn't has it at Macca's level. Slot only use Szobo as a runner rather a playmaker at 10.
We either need the 6 to compliment Gravenberch and let Macca be the 10, or sign a better 10 than Szobo. And do not mention Jones or Harvey, they are only good rotation, but not starters
if you want creative play maker, classic no 10, hole player, box to box, orchestrator, anchor man….go for Mac allister he is capable of playing all this playing style 😂😂
