Ferreira doesn’t have what it takes to hangs in europe but he can shine in Seattle. The souders are solid in the defense and are in desperate need of some attacking players. Also he will be able to play in the CWC, which is a great opportunity for him to showcase his skills
This is not a DP signing at all. We would be making a HUGE mistake with a signing like this.
It sounds like he'll take a pay cut to become max-TAM to move to Seattle. And it makes sense for everyone. JF gets to play for a club in Champions League and the Club World Cup which will give him lots of eyes for a potential transfer. And Seattle gets an extra high quality piece to compete in all those competitions next year and then sell him on.
