  1. Sarg has been reborn, big A is a rolls Royce, gibs could be a real surprise gem, and if Nunez keeps improving the more he adapts then Christ almighty, we could be just getting started! OTBC!!

  2. When we get promoted back to the Premier league. I think we will stay there for good as Dean Smith knows what he's doing, he's been in the Premier league before he knows there style

  3. He looks good in the number 9 because that's his actual position. Werder and Norwich have played him out of position for so long. Also his trademark goals are normally quick turn shots to the bottom corners, but he needs to be in the middle.

  4. As an American, long time Canary fan – I’m just so happy for Sargent. I knew he had this in him. I’ve seen him do this for the USMNT and in Germany. He needs to be the striker.

  5. I really don't want anybody to say that they knew Sargent had it in him we all clowned the guy massively and I think it's getting to the point where I owe him a big apology. Secondly Jack, your point on the comparison between Ben Godfrey and Andy is a good point and I do think Andy will be better just because I always thought Godfrey was a bit more reckless with his challenges where as Andy looks so calm at all times but only time will tell but none of the less Godfrey is class still.

  6. I had not given up on Sargent. He was on fire for USA in youth tournaments so obvious skills. Hope he continues to well for U, US, USA!

  7. Such a well rounded performance! Big Andy was classic, as was Kenny! So glad to be seeing Sargent playing well, he deserves it with his work rate. Loving the look of the synergy in midfield!

  8. Norwich have an embarrassment of riches for this level and should be capable of dominating this league. Nunez was spraying
passes across the pitch which is great to see and will allow attacks to develop quickly. Very impressive in the second half.

  9. Fantastic turn around, that second half was much much better. Sargent really is proving everybody wrong which is brilliant – the only change I'd want would be Dowell out for Cantwell or Pukki, really don't think he offers enough and the other two would be an improvement imo

  10. Great performance from everyone. But essentially Sarge, I've criticised him in the past but it looks like he will make me eat my own words and I'm more than happy with that! Thought he was fantastic last night, worked his socks off but also had composure to his performance especially with his second goal.

  11. Happy to be proved wrong about Mr Sargent keep up the good work.
And pleased we have no waste of time and money loanees let's keep it that way !!!

  12. Where are all the fans who had no faith in Josh??? Also… who was it that brought him in…? Correct, FARKE. Not Smith. If we weren’t so obsessed with bigging up Good Old Average Teemu (who’s only had 2 seasons with more than 20 goals in his career) we might have pushed Smith to play players like Sargent in the best formation possible… Please, please, please fans, start having standards. If you don’t we will only be a yo-yo club at best.

  13. Why no mention of Hernandez? He absolutely needs to start next game. I think almost every time he had the ball near the box he made something happen

  14. Jack , great show! I thought Norwich is finally playing cohesively. The midfield finally is providing service to the forwards. I think the biggest problem going forward is the defense. IMO Hanley , Omobamidele are too slow and not technical enough on the ball. I agree that Aarons is an asset; hopefully, the club does not lose Krul. In the midfield , Cantwell in IMO is not effective; he dribbles too much and does not provide service to the forwards. Hopefully, the club with new ownership would have cash needed to obtain younger, technical players. I am worried about Sunderland on Saturday; they are a very good team.

  15. funny what happens when you put a player in their preferred position and they succeed…

  16. The sound of Springsteen blasting out the loudspeaker at the end painted a beautiful narrative of a social and cultural embrace for US player, Sargent. I love moments like that in football. Well done to Norwich across the board there. The half-time team talk changed the game. Well done to the manager for asking the players to vary the attacks and move the ball central too.

  17. Looks like Sargent is starting to use his big body to his advantage at the 9. Hope he can continue to develop and score some goals. Would like to see him in Qatar.
