  1. I haven’t been this excited about a transfer since Kyogo! South Korea is one of my favourite countries and to be totally honest I’m slightly obsessed! To finally be linked with one of their stars is amazing and I REALLY hope we sign this lad! 🇰🇷🍀

  2. NOt saying he's a bad player, some very good finishes, but if Gio leaves, I am not sure this guy is a physical enough replacement. Don't see many tracking back highlights.

  3. TOP 5 GIAKOUMAKIS 🇬🇷 REPLACEMENTS CELTIC SHOULD TARGET! 🍀

Lots of Celtic fans are annoyed or even upset that Giakoumakis is looking to force his way out of Celtic. I for one couldn’t care less. In fact, I hope he does go. He’s 28 years-old next week and he’ll never have a higher value than what he does now.

We signed him for £2M last season and we could potentially sell him for as much as £15M the following season! With that money we can sign someone a lot younger and with HUGE potential! Here’s my top five targets for who should replace Giorgos Giakoumakis…

    🇨🇮 | David Datro Fofana
    Age: 19
    Club: Molde 🇳🇴

I won’t spend too much time on Datro Fofana because I’ve been going on about him for a LONG time now, you all know what I think of him.

19 years old, built like an ox, power and strength beyond belief, fast, a nuisance for defenders and he scores lots of goals. For me, he’s my dream target and has been for months and months now.

I haven’t seen any transfer rumours about him until last week when I saw Brighton were linked, with Molde asking around €10M (£8.5M) supposedly (would SHATTER their transfer record if true). If we could sell Giakoumakis for around £12-15M and then get Fofana for around £5-6M plus add-ons then that would be a MASSIVE upgrade in my books. Come on Celtic, you know what to do.

    🇬🇳 | Mohamed Bayo
    Age: 24
    Club: LOSC Lille 🇫🇷

Bayo was an absolute animal for Clermont Foot last season which earned him his big move to Lille this summer in a deal which saw them pay €14M (£12M). There’s absolutely no doubting his ability and had he kicked on like expected then Lille would be looking at a £35-40M player.

The Lille boss seems to prefer Jonathan David as his centre-forward (phenomenal player) which has seen Bayo have very limited minutes for Lille and he has zero goals in those 9 appearances so far.

Could Celtic get Bayo on a cut-price deal? If we could get him for around £8M then we would have a serious striker on our hands! We’d still have money left over from the Giakoumakis deal as well!

    🇸🇪/🇭🇺 | Viktor Gyökeres
    Age: 24
    Club: Coventry City 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Something I didn’t think I’d be doing but here we go. English football. Oh how I hate scouting in English football. Everyone is overpriced in English football, and when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE. I never scout in their leagues. Except for just now…

Coventry City signed Gyökeres from Brighton 18 months ago in a deal worth £1M. What a deal that was. The 24 year-old is, in many peoples opinion, the best striker in the Championship this season banging in 9 goals in 19 games for a mid-table team is very impressive.

The question is how much would he cost Celtic? He’s a good age, he’s powerful and he loves scoring goals, however he failed to show this form at both Swansea and Brighton. Therefore I would max out at £6M. If they were after more than that for him I would walk away. This is England so they’ll probably want £20M…

    🇸🇪/🇸🇳 | Amin Sarr
    Age: 21
    Club: Heerenveen 🇳🇱

Heerenveen signed Sarr for €2.3M from Malmö in January and he’s been absolutely sensational ever since then.

He’s got 3 goals and 5 assists in 14 games for the team who sit 8th in the Eredivise. He’s got a brilliant combination of power and speed, his knack for spotting runs is excellent and his dribbling ability along with his composure is very impressive. Standing at 6’2 he can also play as a target man if required.

Having paid €2.3M for him in January you would imagine a bid of around £6M with add-ons would stand a very good chance of securing his services. Maybe even less? This would be a very talented youngster to bolster our striking options.

    🇵🇹 | Henrique Araújo
    Age: 20
    Club: SL Benfica 🇵🇹

First of all Benfica, thank you. Jota at £6.5M was an absolute BARGAIN. Now we’d like to do it all over again.

Araújo is showing MAJOR promise as the next big thing to come through Benfica’s world-class youth academy. He’s absolutely tearing it up for their youth team however their first-team manager Roger Schmidt seems incredibly reluctant to give him any game time at senior level.

At 20 years-old there is absolutely no doubt that Araújo is needing to make the step up from youth football to senior football but if Benfica aren’t willing to give him it then why shouldn’t Celtic try their hand again? One thing that I’ve found from my research is that Benfica fans absolutely ADORE this boy and they are pleading to see him get some minutes.

Selling 28 year-old Giakoumakis for £12-15M to then sign this boy for £6-10M seems like a really sensible bit of business!

    WILDCARDS

    🇧🇷 | Marcos Leonardo
    Age: 19
    Club: Santos FC 🇧🇷

This 19 year-old has lit the world alight at Santos. He’s got 13 goals and 4 assists in 35 Brazilian Serie A games and 2 goals in 4 Copa Sudamericana games (practically all from the bench).

Celtic would likely have to break their transfer record to land this guy but I would be all for it! He’s gonna be a superstar in years to come, it’s that simple! If we get £15M for Giakoumakis then plough the whole lot into him. Just do it. He’s worth every penny and then some.

This is by FAR the most unrealistic transfer on this list hence why he’s a wildcard and not on the actual list.

    🇫🇷 | Moussa Dembélé
    Age: 26
    Club: Lyon 🇫🇷

Moussa Dembélé is POSSIBLY my all-time favourite Celtic player (in terms of players I’ve properly seen play). One of my saddest days in football was when Moussa Dembélé left Celtic.

He’s out of contract in the summer so would be available on a FREE! Rather than spending £6-8M on a transfer fee plus wages on top of that, why not just put that money into wages for Dembélé? Again, like Leonardo I’m not saying it would happen but you never know. Hence why Moussa is also in the wildcards section.

    BRING. MOUSSA. HOME.

  5. 🇰🇷❤🍀⚽️⚔ The Korea Republic national football team's new FW Kyu-Sung Cho (189cm & 82kg) player is the based on excellent physical condition and strong stamina, and has a wide range of activities, relatively decent fast speed, high header possessive ability, menacing ability to break through the goal door, and a relatively decent passing play and goal finish determination.
He currently plays for The Korea Republic K League 1's Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC, and has won the 2021-2022 season's first top scorer title trophy!
He also executes a very tough forward press, is very good at linking play with his teammates, has determination and a strong mentality excellent target-type striker!
In the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar finals competition's group league stage 2 match against Ghana natinal football team, he scored two goals in a row with a tough, high header shot and became a new rising star! (laughs)
Therefore, a number of teams in Europe's top five big leagues, including EPL's FC teams, are expected to compete very fiercely in the transfer market this summer! ⚔⚽️🍀❤🇰🇷
