They really deserved to win at least one World Rugby Championship
Certainly the most beautiful rugby in the world for years. Unfortunately, whatever the beauty of its aerial game, inspired, athletic, refined, the French team has always been a victim of refereeing. What happened in 1995 against the South Africans, in 2011 against the New Zealanders and again in 2023 against South Africa shows the permanence of absolutely incomprehensible refereeing. To hope to win a World Cup one day, the French will have to be even better than today.

C'est un rugby très aérien, beaucoup plus dynamique et esthétique à regarder que le rugby des années 1970 / 1980 à l'époque, il y avait une quantité de moles et trop de mêlées, de plus les touches n'étaient pas délivrées selon les même règles. On peut dire en somme que le rugby est devenu aussi dynamique que le "football" américain et plus intéressant.
