I always like to compare Malacia with that Timber. Both are Dutch internationals, both have world cups to think about coming into January. One is a ETH favorite in his ex team while the other has only played against ETH. One only needs to worry about dislodging some pretty poor CBs in our first team while the other has to fight against 2 rather well established LB in the first team (and another 2 up and coming youth players). One chose to chicken out thinking World Cup is more impt than joining us, while the other had his head turned as soon as United went in for him before he flies to Lyon.

Malacia is made of the right wood / DNA
Malacia is one our countries biggest prospects at the moment, and Ten Hag wanted him at Ajax, but my club choose not to get him; since last summer we took Feyenoords star player. Which came with a lot of nasty conquences for the player & his loved ones. I think he is a good signing for Man U, he is modern intelligent left back with the skills and the tenacity and speed to make it. Yes he still has a lot to learn, but he is an intelligent fast learner, and a player who doesnt slag of. For what its worth, we Ajax supporters are really impressed by Feyenoord players/talents, but he is one of these exceptions.
