Im a united fan, and i hate this signing. We should of bought Milinkovjic-Savic who offers alot more going forward, aswell as being the physical type of midfielder Mourinho likes. Or we could of bought a younger midfielder who offers a little flair ie Goretzka or Auour. Matic does what Fred does and Fred wont complement Pogba. And Herrera and Blind are complete midfielders who can do what Fred was bought to do. Bad signing. Fred aint no Fernandinho.

People who do no understand football do not see the importance of fred. Fred is a deep lying mid, much like herrera but with better creativity and ball control. AND he can defend. Pogba will now be tracking back less often as there will be two mid covering him. He also has the physicality to cope with the PL. Mou realised Pogba can't play in a two man mid.
