Should’ve started the UCL final, alisson was obvs levels above big Simon when we signed him but Migs never complained even when he got stick, still one of the best keepers I’ve ever seen when it comes to saving penalties and I’m glad he’s absolutely smashing it at Brugge
I'm still adamant if Mignolet started over Karius in the champions league final we'd have won it. Ali was a massive upgrade, but Mignolet was a decent keeper for us. Always felt he got blamed way more than he deserved.
Great to hear your perspective, Thx. And thx for your time at Liverpool, I was and am a big fan, having played in goal myself I appreciate your abilities. YNWA.
My kids used to run around the house shouting ‘Simon Mig no let’ but pronouncing ‘let’ like ‘let me in’..so random…think they got it from YouTube or something 😅
I mean nice fella by all acount but id we'd of kept reina i think we would of won the league in 13/14 better keeper and bigger influence in the dressing room.
As a Liverpool fan I've always felt bad for players like Mignolet. He was not Alisson, and he is probably not the keeper than would win us the league but he was too good to be playing for bottom half teams as well. Too good to be on the bench but not good though for a title challenging team. He was a loyal servant throughout his time in the team.
Mignolet was definitely better than Adrian and Karius. I don't know what Klopp was thinking during that time. Adrian costed us the Champions League against Atletico Madrid in the 19-20 season.
I picked his mum and dad up at melwood day after arsenal game were he had stinker,, lovely people and put me calling him shit day b4 in perspective 🙈🤣🤣 decent keeper 4 liverpool 👍
I wonder how different Liverpool history would've been if they had won that season. It likely would have either delayed or prevented a Klopp-era, but you play to win leagues and the difference in morale at the club would have been enormous. Imagine Brendan Rodgers as a Liverpool legend, lol….
He made us believe in his debut save. Honestly I remember that moment, we hadn't won a season opener for quite some time. It helped build momentum for us.

Still baffles me how he lost he place to karius
Hope you post a video of him talking about Sunderland, he was so loved here and end of day we brought him to England. Best 1on1 gk I’ve ever seen
I loved hm for his 13/14 season – best of luck at brugge – hope u defeat city and knock them out of UCL and take 13/14 revenge
He sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger 😂

The worst keeper ever
This guy gave me some horrible memories nothing against him as a human but f*k me some mistakes he made
his English is so good Does all belgian like this or the edu system have a proper english lesson there in school?
Mignolet revisionism in the comments section😂. Some of the howlers he made at Liverpool, you’d swear he was paid off
A proper convo between keepers.
YNWA Simon ❤

Simon needed to make that save against Ba. Separates world-class keepers.
Mignolet we never finished outside top 8 in 60+ years.

Always preferred him to Reina. Never pimped himself out to Barcelona for one thing
Sorry but it wasn't a Dream Team cos YOU was there
Was there in the Anfield Road end when he saved that penno. Cracking start to his Liverpool career. Nice one Migs. YNWA.

Sorry but I hated having this guy in nets. One of the worst first choice keepers in our history.
I played against Mignolet's Club Brugge in PS4 PES 21 mod, man he's goalkeeping like a Prime Buffon 😂😂😂😂
Why are they surprised to hear him say Sturridge was the best finished he played with?! Such an overrated player, clearly.
I picked his mum and dad up at melwood day after arsenal game were he had stinker,, lovely people and put me calling him shit day b4 in perspective 🙈🤣🤣 decent keeper 4 liverpool 👍
One of my favorite LFC Players of recent times.
Mignolet speaks really good English

Nice flemish-scouse accent hé !!

My memory is failing me, did Mignolet get a chance to play with any of the top defenders we have nowadays?
