We have been a 'stepping stone' club – a means by which players can gain recognition and move on. It is hard to hold onto talented players when your club is an also-ran and it's hard to attract talent, too. We are beginning to believe, or at least hope, that perhaps this is the place to be. Great family, you can just tell, made of steel and probably part of the reason Bruno had the courage to join us at the bottom of the league and talk of champions league way before we even thought it was a chance. Can’t believe some fans were moaning at him with the Barca thing and that twitter spat thing, it’s football people, eventually he will move to Spain il be very surprised if he doesn’t and we will get paid well for it and everyone will win, glad he’s here for a few more years though
I really hope that Bruno and family make Newcastle their home forever. Wonderful people. It's easy to be selfish as a fan & want the best players. But it's better to have decent, passionate, hard working people at the club. And Bruno is the epitome of that. He's part of a core of players here who will make the club and the area proud.
What a difference a few years makes in the bad old days of Mike Ashley we would not and could not have got a player of the calibre of bruno 0 ambition but now its a complete transformation under the new owners not only have we got a player in bruno who is one of the best players in European football and most importantly with the right mindset who is enjoying his football and we are now attracting player of similar abilities like botman isak and tonali all of this would only be a dream if it were not for one person amanda staverly so thank you amanda you should have a statue outside St james park for what you have done for this football club
Anyone who thinks moving to our great Club is a bad decision needs to look at Bruno and others … Trippier, Gordon, Botman, Burn, Isak, et al. Tonali will take a little longer but he is another class act – just like Bruno and the rest of our growing squad. ⚫⚪
