Needed wake up call kinda game that's why I'm not too mad. Calms fan expectations down, makes the team realise that they are not unbeatable ( cough cough Chilwell). We move on to the next one.

Glad we rested Pulisic, but man we really missed him
Our midfield is still an issue. There are so many times when a player is on the ball, they may even have done well to get out of a difficult situation, and no-one is available. With the areas on the pitch this happens in, kante and especially mount and kovacic (think he is the worst for this, only seems to move when in one two situations) need to be making themselves available, but they are often marked and just standing there instead of moving to find space. So much of our play breaks down due to this and when the ball gets to the attackers they are isolated and unsupringly lose it. But also even the defenders face this problem as a lot of the time there simply isn't a pass on for them.
I agree that Havertz was poor and Mendy made that mistake that resulted in the pen. However I thought that Lampard stayed stayed too long with Girude I would have subbed him off at HT or the hour mark. The Everton center halves didn't have to worry about any movement as Girud was way too static.
Lamps should of switch to 4-3-1-2 in the 2nd half with Kai as #10 and Werner as LF but he just stood there with his hands folded ffs
This Kai havertz is a very big mistake to Chelsea fc he should go loan and learn football is just playing like a pregnant woman

It was bound to happen, the unbeaten run will not last forever. This is a reality check, we still have a lot to improve on. Another winger is needed and let’s give Kai and Timo some time, good things to come, we go again!
Lampard needed to be braver with the subs. Brought on Gilmour too late. Why not try Emerson as a winger for last 25 mins? We were losing anyway.
I think it was a combination of a lack of creativity and luck that lost us the game.
I consider the game against Brighton and this one against Everton. Against Brighton we lacked creativity but we were lucky. Tonight, we just didn't have luck. We struck the post I think 3 times. Zouma had the same chance he scored against Brighton and this time placed it into the arms of Pickford. I think we should just hope our wingers return soon.
With this squad we can win anything, but we Frank I don't think
To be honest I'm very concerned about pulisic … Very very injury prone! Think he will always have a stop start kind of career with Chelsea.
Very unfair to single out Mount in the title when he nearly rescues a point for us. His set pieces are 10x better than Willians last year. He is allowed a off corner day.
Mendy's rash decision making cost us the match. These things balance out though due to him probably making match winning saves later this season.

I think Chelsea played okay. We were unlucky with the penalty but overall I think the team did their best, kept Everton at bay, but overall couldn't convert chances
Unnecessary loss for us due to a silly mistake. Frustrating, disappointing, no creativity and one dimensional game for us. We should concentrate on securing top four instead of this talk of title challenge
We still need to remember that Lampard is still in the baby stages of being a Premiere League coach, trying to go up against the experience of a man like Anccelotti. And this team is still developing. Ziyech has not played a lot of games but has been training with the team way longer than Havertz. He is also much older and experienced. We need a Maestro in the middle. Kai still needs to mature his game to one day become that. We have lacked creativity most of the games we played. We've been winning against teams that aren't top tier. I knew that when we finally did we would really get tested. It's easy to make Mendy the bad guy now. He made one split second mistake, we had an entire game to rectify that and we didn't. Late substitutions, the constant passing backwards, crosses that are not that accurate, and the famous lack of creativity. Mason has great potential, but has been unsteady all season. This team gets very bleak without pulisic. We still have a LOT OF WORK to get through. Get real Blues!! This is a marathon, not a sprint. We are expecting too much too soon.
