Let’s be clear, Louis had to leave the club but Woodward and his cronies treated him with utter contempt.
He was sacked hours after winning an FA Cup, despite Woodward assuring him for months that his job was safe. The club also failed to bring in the calibre of player Van Gaal wanted.
Van Gaal is a legend of European football and he deserved more respect.

Interesting watching this years later. Van Gaal did an okay job. Wasn’t the best football but he got us back in the Champions League and won the FA Cup in his second (and final) season.
