  1. 2 big issues with Berhalter, he runs 1 specific playing style and he has more talent than he knows what to do with
The US are sitting in a wonderful spot, specially with this generation of players
If US creates the right nurturing platform then in all honesty there's high hopes for the lot of you in the next coming WC's
This years WC should be used as an experience

  2. It sucks that Gregg probably won’t be sacked until the U.S. gets knocked from the group stage in the World Cup. This team really has the potential to make it to the round of 16 but I dint see that happening with Gregg’s amateurs tactics.

  3. Hugo Perez is such a knowledgeable guy, great soccer mind.
I hope he takes El Salvador to the next chapter and he coaches the US at some point.

  4. I find it strange that Hugo said that he wasn’t a great coach maybe he was just being humble but he has done incredible things not just for the national team but for the whole country that is like the definition of being a great coach I had them pegged for last in qualifying when it started but they have been sensational for how good there players r

  5. I’m an American/Salvadorean and I totally agree with Hugo Perez and I believe in him. El Salvador 🇸🇻 has national talent and new talent coming up, but he has and uphill battle with the corrupt unorganized Fesfut and National League representatives and will continue to have issues until worthless Hugo Carillo from Fesfut and the league representatives are replaced. Hopefully soon INDES with their President Yamil Bukele interfere and cleans up the corruption and let’s Hugo Perez organize the Selecta in all levels. Great interview 👍

  6. In a short time he has achieved 🙌
    More sponsorship
    New teammates
El salvador is playing and adopting a style.
He is scouting and recruiting the More numbers of players 👀 in a long time probably in the last 10 or 12 years.
Have a new plans for a new league in el salvador 🇸🇻 called THE LIGUE ELITE.
Has debuted new young promises in the national team.
That no one did it before..
And the list goes on, and on

  7. New to the channel, I’m a MXNT fan so I didn’t see myself watching all 43mins of this but I actually did & enjoyed it! Mis Respetos a Hugo 👏🏽 I was at the El Salvador vs Qatar game in Phoenix & their fans got pretty loud after Rivas got a Brace in like 4mins. Sad they didn’t equalize that time but do hope to see La Selecta grow and give us greater matches in the CONCACAF Region.

  8. I don't like many videos, but this one has to go to the archive. Hugo saying there were so many problems with our federation, he knows, the rampant nepotism, fake coaching searches, and the glassdoor reviews. Maybe one day, he'll get a shot at it and there won't be a "language barrier" excuse denying him as well.

  9. Loved this interview. You could tell Hugo was being careful with his comments about Gregg and the USMNT, but still a lot of good insight there from someone who's actually had to gameplan against them. His point about playing style (vs. system) was the highlight for me. Even the parts where he's talking about his El Salvador team were interesting.

A watershed moment for the channel. Take a minute Jake, grab a pint, and enjoy it!

  10. He’s like a wise sage about football. Like a Yoda. I’m jealous El Savadorian players get to be around him instead of our young US Squad

  11. Great interview! I wish you would have asked him how he would utilize our current crop of talent and perhaps that be used as an idea going forward for the USMNT.

  12. Problem with El Salvador's team is lack of talent. You can throw more money at players or bring better coaches but ultimately it's 11 players on the field and if they don't got it they don't got it.

  13. great interview mate
I believe El Salvador needs to start playing bigger teams not just the same ones all the time.
I'm from Australia but im salvadorean, and I think they should set up a match between El Salvador and Australia you think you can message Hugo for me lol

    🇸🇻🇦🇺🦘🦘

  14. O mejor Hugo Pérez vete de El Dalvador. No te ocupamos para tener una selección buena para nada vete pero muy lejos por favor

  15. Go to Getthos in Los Angeles and give them the only opportunity to get off from poverty and as El Salvador and the USA as well are going to find diamonds to polish for any type of competitions. Every World Cup is the same Story we come back to home with nothing at all.

  16. US soccer Federation is blatantly xenophobic and racist towards players and coaches that are Latino, if it weren’t for Latinos, soccer wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar in the United States 🇺🇸. There’s never any discussion of hiring South America’s best coaches for the USMNT. The Federation is unapologetically Euro and Anglo centric and would always prefer a European coach that sometimes doesn’t even know how to speak English. They also mostly ignore good Latino American players for the usmnt.
