  1. Surely if Real Madrid and Barca are looking at him, we’re talking £40m+ aren’t we? It’s an easy decision though, have a chat with him and see what he wants to do.

  2. I would love to see him under Potter. I think he would round our defence off perfectly. I would sell him however. I agree with Geo on this one. It's about time one of these loans actually seems to have worked in our favour no matter what happens

  3. Like geo said “cash in” he doesn’t like it at West Ham and doesn’t want to play for us! He’s put himself in the shop window and we need the funds for our squad rebuild

  4. I don’t think he’s suited to the premiership but he’s a good player in the right league and style of play. Cash in all day long even £25m-£30m shouldn’t be sniffed at plus if we got the three musketeers potter ashworth and McCauley buying young unknowns for £5m a go then it will go a long way.

  5. I would give him a chance; 'if', he wanted it. I think he's a better player than he could show under Moyes constant bombardment system.

Geo seems to have the right idea overall. Cash in if there's a good offer.
In the end, Aguerd has to want to be with West Ham.

  6. I have to disagree about the “bad egg” comment. Saw a silly video with Kurt that meant nothing and he looked like a moody pain in the arse. I’d 100% cash in on him to anywhere I wouldn’t want him anywhere near our team

  7. Have to go with Geo on this. In my opinion, doesn't matter what style of football you play, at some point your central defenders need to be physically strong and head the ball. Not saying he is a poor player, just not robust enough for Premier League in my view.

  8. If we can get 25 mill + add ons id take the money, along with selling Paqeta as well for around 30 if we can get it.

I’ve been impressed by Delap and think he fits our need as a striker. Might be a realistic target as well.

Sign a different centre half and someone creative to replace Paqeta, along with Delap and I actually think we have a strong side.

The 50 mil+ we get from Aguerd and Paqeta would go a long way to helping this happen.

  9. Most times looked vulnerable and nervous , and not the player we signed that helped get his nation to the business end of the world cup. He won't be bought by any other EPL club.

  10. I think it's a bit of both, I would happily give him a and chance at west ham, BUT if we sold him for a good amount in the summer, I wouldn't cry about it.

  11. I would be interested to see how he would get on under Potter but personally I would sell him whilst his value is high. I question him commitment and if the prem is best suited for him. Take the cash and let Potter pick the replacement.

  12. agree with Geo get rid…he didnt want to be in London let alone westham….take the cash and get someone with better character and suited prem. COYI….

  13. Potter should assess the situation with Aguerd sit down and have a chat with the player. If he wants to come back let him come back if not sell him. He's a quality centre back.

  14. Get back the ££ ASAP. Can even negotiate the sale now for settlement on day 1 of the summer transfer window. Given the interest Im sure we can work that price up a little higher. Take a hefty no refund deposit in case Aguerd gets injured before the end of the season. Grab that cash!!!

  15. We held onto Diop too long which meant we failed to maximise his value when sold. We don’t usually sell for a profit but think we have a real opportunity here. Then replace with someone more suited / physical for the premier league

  16. Would only want him back if he wanted to play in the Premier league with us again 100% think he could do good job for us under way potter wants to play but know its a gamble depends on if any better options out there

  17. Easy decision – Bring him back. The Moyes system never suited him with everyone sitting back and crowding the box – didnt suit his attributes of pace, recovery, ball playing etc.Think the attitude stuff is fake or exaggerated, whenever you saw a video he always seemed a team player and positive at supporting others. Think he would be a star in Potter's system.

  18. Don’t forget the Areola/ Aguerd partnership. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen worse communication between a goalkeeper and the center back. Couple of that with the fact that neither one of them can deal with a cross in their own box. They were a terrible tandem. How many times after conceding a goal did Areola and Aguerd remonstrate with each other about “I thought you had it” and “Why didn’t you come for it, or call for it etc”? Not a match made in heaven.
