Much better highlights l think. People on here think 80 average is watchable or maybe it's like comparing the BDO to the PDC. I have seen untidy darts this weeks and l see Van Gerwen…..
I have a curiosity. How come matches from round 1 and I give you an example: Woodhouse vs Omelchenko was played on 18.12.2022 a day later after the match from the round 2: Gurney vs Soutar who was played on 17.12.2022? I find it to be strange to see matches from round 2 played before matches from round 1
MVG seems to have improved after having that carpal tunnel surgery. His average in one of his sets was 125 I mean come on you don't get much better than that. Let's hope he gets a double nine darter!
Should of been a coast through by King. Two sets up and then throws two sets away. Comes to bite when you take the pressure off and let a comeback happen.
Disappointing, but not necessarily unexpected, to see Gates and Baggish dumped out. They have plenty of talent for sure, but the staying power under maximum pressure is lacking. In addition, there's that stare in Leonard's eyes as he tries to work out the numbers. I like him a lot, but he needs more work on his math 🧮
Why is it in any other sport (except women's sport, seemingly) it's fine for the commentators to discuss the shape the sportsmen are in, but not in darts? It should be discussed quite a bit. Some are simply too fat. King is in hellish shape and it affects him.
Once again a so called expert comments, watches and see's zilt. "You cannot get away with playing sub-standard darts against Michael Van Gerwin". Mr Williams has a problem. Same problem as Mr Mardle. Fact!
