  1. Both Rikke Sevecke, she’s only 27 and Tom Lockyear who’s only 29. Rikke is right all football club’s worldwide need the stress ECG tests installed ASAP. To many footballers in my lifetime, over 30 years now have either died, almost died or forced to retire because they are at risk.

  2. Absolute legend seems like a great lad aswell such a same to see him have 2 horrific cardiac arrests, but what he has done for Luton is extraordinary. I would love to see him return as he’s a great role model and just a brilliant athlete in how he handles things, but if he does decide to retire he can look back on brilliant things Luton have done with him at the heart of it. We are all with you Tom 🧡🤍

  3. Its an absolute shame that it has to end for him this way if it proves to be like that. It's a shame for not Lockyer himself but for the whole of Luton Town. Nevertheless with cardiac arrests, to survive from two of them is quite extraordinary but to risk playing again and if it happens the third time, I dont think he would be so lucky again so in fairness for his family and for his life, retiring is the only option. But it is a shame and it feels like a heavy loss for him and for the Luton players, fans and the whole club and city in general.

Since Everton have obviously saved themselves from the drop, it would be unfair for Luton to be relegated after their first full season back in the big time after 31 & 1/2 years, I would like to see them stay up, not just for the fans but for Lockyer as well. I hope they can find it in them to win, they have been so special to watch.

  4. I wish Lockyer all the best for what he does off the pitch. And as for those who have come here and spouted nonsense comments associated with coronavirus and vsccines, etc. Have a good look at yourself/yourselves before you open your mouth and write nonsense about people who you dont even know and have a huge hatred for no valid, legitimate, strong reasons for. This is for keyboard warriors / fake football fans who hid behind a computer and spout nonsense and think they are untouchable.
