Nice fly Matt!!!
That's a good one, Matt.
Good job matt. I enjoy watching you tying all the flies. Thanks for doing this
Nice. I’m a bit surprised that the recipe calls for only one peacock herl since it can be pretty fragile. I might want to tie it with 2 herls & maybe add one as a back up in case of one breaking. A little wax on your thread before adding & wrapping the wing might reduce twisting & make the tie-in easier.
Love tying/fishing caddis flies. They float nicely and look ‘delicious’. 😀
A cool trick I do to keep deer hair from spinning on me is to take a wrap around just the deer hair first than a wrap around the hook. Won't keep the hair from flairing but it won't spin might give it a try. Great video live deer hair caddis.
That is a great looking fly Matt
Looks easy, will have to give it a try
Thanks Matt 😊

Thanks Matt really like this one a lot thank you
Wow! I like that pattern. Since I have been tying caddis patterns lately will put this one on my list for sure. Thanks Matt. Continued blessings my friend
This is a pattern I tie quite a bit. They’re fun to tie some I’ll split the hair for a spent caddis that work well.
Matt, love your videos. I learned so much from them! I even tied my own improvised (i only have wool and some cheap-ass rooster hackle) Parachute Adams. Its not perfect but i think it will catch some fish. Here in the Netherlands we mostly have roach and perch we can catch on the fly. And if you get lucky the perch may reach up to 50 cm ( i think thats about 24 inch)… and they are some real strong fish! So maybe if you have a fly or streamer suitable for these waters…. please let me know.
Thanks, greetings Ed
