My thing with pro/rel is that it seems like it moves all the stakes away from actually winning. Oh I don't care if my team is actually any good, I just want my team to not be so bad that they can't play with the big boys

Pete, really sorry to hear you’ve had a rough go for the last few months. We love the content and are always grateful for it, hope this year has some blessings in store for you.
There is a lot going on right now with sports funding in Germany. Many of the national programs in many different sports have had funding cut and resources reduced in the last few months. This is impacting roster and team decisions for the upcoming season, and likely impacting many of the conversations involving dualnats and making them more reluctant to go with Germany at present time.
I don’t believe this narrative that Josh Sargent hasn’t preformed well for the national team. He was our best striker at the World Cup when he played, Even without scoring.
We need to start prioritizing CCV over Ream, incorporate Noahkai Banks, and recruit Enrie Chase. Also Brown should and will be brought in but we also need to bring in Chase and Downs as they are both in big positions of need and have big potential.
Anrie Chase is also available for Jamaica in addition to the US and Japan (not Nigeria like Pete mentioned).
Does Nathaniel Brown have to file a one time switch to play for us?

I still think the best model for soccer in the states would require a group of small, local leagues/divisions with local cups and tournaments. Cali area having it's own league, Texas area having it's own. North East and South East. Then the best teams from those leagues are promoted into a USA Championship League and that's the top tier. Then smaller clubs can travel less and save money and focus on local rivalries and homegrown talent. USA is too big for one or two leagues like it's set up now.
These players are " playing well or " balling out" for " top clubs" who are essentially out of title contention or clubs out of their prime …80's and 90's……

FYI, the USSF rules for club ownership of the various division tiers make it practically impossible to have pro/rel in the US.
