I heard that the baby rattle snakes are more venomous than the adult ones.
The funny part is is half of the price is probably from it being painted to look like a rattle snake and the fish can’t even see the top

I've only seen a rattle snake once in the water. It was at Lake Sonoma. It's rare but the bass just see movement on the surface. They don't see it as a rattlesnake
I seen a gardener snake in the water and a bass come up and chop it in half it was so cool keep up the great fishing

In the summer the best bass fishing is 3 am to 5 am. Don't underestimate night bass fishing using black or very dark colors.

I saw a video of a guy fishing in a Yak, and a swimming rattlesnake was getting tired so it started trying to get in the guys boat. So he smacks it with his paddle and knocks it out. (It was like 12") It's mouth is open and it looks dead so I'm thinking he's about to get bit. He hooks the thing threw its upper lip and cast it out. Doesn't get a chance to sink to the bottom before it gets hammered. It was a small bass maybe 2 lbs. but it jumped on it.
A rubber worms effectiveness is due to looking like a snake or fish tailing more than a worm.
Snakes can sit on the bottom and lie in wait for fish too. I've almost stepped on one coiled up on the bottom wading in a river fly fishing for trout. It took off downstream. It think it was on the Stanislaus.
That baby rattlesnake lure works really well around these creeks and back waters of NE Arkansas. It is advised to change the hooks but I thought you did rather well today on this video. Adjusted quickly to the change of the bite. Nice!!! I'm not a kayak fisherman but watching your outings has definitely got me looking into it more seriously. Look forward to your videos in 2021. Ha! I thought I was the only person who throws a Flicker Shads! They come with horrendous hooks but are super cheap but super effective! They work extremely well as a jerkbait too! That said, I’m definitely gonna pick up a couple of those Savage Gear snakes…

There is a fellow who follows you under "Cole and Jay." They have a channel out of Arkansas. Cole fishes a snake in canals that go through soy fields and they do very well with them. This was a fun video!
