I think Yedlin will make Berhalters cut for Nations League. Unfortunately, maybe I am just a pessimist, I think Berhalter will bring some of his favorites too, Zardes and Ariolla.
I’m actually hoping Bryan Reynolds can be converted into a Left-Back for two reasons: it gives A Rob some serious competition and some nerves that there is someone who can compete for that spot and is younger, & I kinda wanna see Reynolds & Dest run the flanks, we will have flying missiles as full backs

I want Konrad to go to the Gold Cup. He would start and be an impact player instead of probably only starting against CR in the friendly. Think we should send more rotational guys to GC to be more competitive.

Great video! That was fun and informative. Quick thought/question. I brought this up on another platform and people couldn't stand it. Let me preface it by saying I have not watched any Austrian Bundesliga in my life and I'm a big fan of Brendan Aaronson. Here's my question. Why does everyone go crazy when Aaronson scores a goal in Austria. Then at the same time say EPB has to get to a better league if he wants to be a USMNT player. In my opinion it would be easier to look good for Aaronson getting service to score as an attacking player for RB Salzburg, vs being EPB always under pressure as a defender on a team that struggles. I just don't understand. I'm not even saying EPB should have made the roster I haven't seen him play. I just find it interesting that everyone always knocks him for playing in Austria. Saying he's obviously not at the level. Then celebrating Aaronson in the same league doing what I would think would be an easier job. I can't wait for your answer.

I don’t get how Paul’s arreola makes it to the provisional roster, the guy is coming off an injury and is out of form. It’s like he is a mainstay on the team. Ccv and green should’ve also been in this roster , both our helping their teams get to promotion , I would even choose Duane Holmes and even Leyden gooch. But you know how it goes, sprinkle some trash mls players like roldan who has 20 appearances and no goals, and a god awful Acosta

We still have to many MLS players that shouldn't be in the 40s list. Unbelievable that he leaves a player like DD out to bring Zardes in the roster. This its exactly why I still say that there is an MLS agenda to this day. Even a guy like Llegett has no business in this 40 men roster he is a mediocre journeyman that only does just ok, cause he had played surrounded by talent.
What do you think of Reyna playing a false 9 role supplying Pulisic and another winger (maybe de la fuente) as one of our choice lineups for the Nations League.

Are we operating under the assumption that anyone called to nations league won’t go to the gold cup? Like even the backups who won’t play much? Like for example obviously I wanna see Dike as our 2nd striker but if the options are him riding the bench for nations league or starting the gold cup I’d obviously pick gold cup. Or will the backups for nations league still play in the gold cup?

I have a bad feeling Dike's going to get cut, Berhalter just doesn't seem to like him for some reason, I think he's going to Siebatcheu instead even though Dike's progress from his pro debut (like 9 and a half months ago) has been insane and right now he's probably in 99% of USMNT fans' top 2 (3 if you count Weah in that) strikers.

I hate the fact the Siabatcheu rejected for a long time hoping to get into the French squad, realizes he’s not even in the conversation and THEN declares for the US.
Even worse, USMNT (like a simp waiting to fuck the girl after she’s never paid him no mind) calls him up and is all over him.
Honestly, I do not believe that Ethan Horvath should be on the final 23-man roster. Horvath has played less than a few games in 2021, and I seriously have doubts about his form and confidence should he be called in to actions if Steffen gets injured or red-carded in a game.

Here's the deal. We still don't have a #9. Pulisic by far is most world class player we ever had, but we need support. Konrad is not the answer yet. I think Gio is the guy to watch step it up in the hex.

I agree, a few well deserved names have been mentioned to replace Ream, Zimmerman… I'd keep going with the youngsters as I'd rather have Justin Che instead of these two or instead of Miazga… Justin will be a baller, that's why Bayern got him to replace Boateng one day.
Justin can represent the US, Germany, Russia and a country in Africa (his father's).. so Berhalter better call him up this summer and cap him before the Germans scoop him up.
