  1. The key point is that the system that you play can make or break your career
No matter how good you are.
Lukaku is one of those examples
Other ones recently are Raphinha,Dembele, and they're Ballon'dor front runners .

  2. was a good player with a diverse skill set but wasted by his lack of professionalism and efficiency. could've been much, much more. that said he was good at everton, belgium, inter milan, and even man utd for a bit

  3. Lukaka IS such a contradiction. He IS a Bull, massively build to overpower opponents. Yet His strong suit IS deep Runs and Finishing froma Bit of a diatance. How IS He Not great in the Box receiving crosses

  4. West Brom lukaku was something else, I think career decisions ruined him abit tbh he should of stayed at inter when he was the main man and won them the league instead of going back to Chelsea, I think he he felt like he had to prove himself with a big prem club after his United stint and because he didn’t get a chance at Chelsea before, when he could of stayed at a massive club like inter and had an even better career

  5. Good player but not elite level.
Padded stats make his record decent but in the big games and finals, club and international, he fluffed the chances.

  6. Good stats talented but was never a clutch player had horrible first touch.

Overall great player but dont make it sound like he carried teams except Everton.

  7. Lukaku has been one of the best 2nd tier center forwards for the last decade. Eye test doesn't suggest much but the stats does a fair job on who he really is and what he can do.

  8. He was seen as a flop at United yet scored 42 in 96. That’s not far off what you expect from a first choice striker at all.

  9. I've always rallied behind the idea that he is a legend. Not quite on the level of the Lewandowksi, Suarez and Zlatan, but he is definitely a legend
