VAR has an error margin much larger than 1cm, which is why you cannot call a 1cm offside, end of story

The whole point of offside is to take away the advantage of being closer to the enemies' goal than the enemies themselves. If statistics show that 3-4 cm doesn't produce a statistically significant difference in outcome, then being 1 cm offside should not be offside. At that point it is pointless intervening. In my opinion, the first goal from Germany around opening should be allowed. The goal from Denmark could be allowed or disallowed, either way is OK. The handball penalty on Denmark shouldn’t be given.
At least the ref was consistent with his questionable decisions on both sides, so it's even I guess. But the trainer does kind of have a point about the handball. They do look like a bunch of re… well.. iditos running with their hands behind their backs to avoid being shot at and causing a penalty 😀 And in this case it really did not seem intentional and would most likeley not have affected the trajectory of the ball significantly. But hey thats football. Does anyone really believe UEFA will allow Germany to lose so early on in their home country? Just looking at the sponsors should tell you everything about how they operate 😀

I'm a very casual football enjoyer – I only watch euro cup and world cup and maybe not all of it.
IMO VAR makes the sport way less entertaining to watch and I don't think I will be as hyped about these tournaments in the future as I have been in the past.
I feel like football has become way too serious and technocratic to the point that it is losing sight of what it is.
Its entertainment. Football only exist (atleast to this degree) because people find it interesting and entertaining. If this trend continues I am quite sure there will be a decline for the sport.
