      Bring young lads into squad based on their pressing skills winning ball back high up pitch but then convert them to sit deep to protect the best cb at united..our great manager is Teaching city, liverpool & dortmund players to play like Leicester so Sir Harry doesnt get exposed on halfway line. Even proclaimed they cant play like this with the double pivot.. So another tournament with 6 defenders plus kane dropping deep into midfield.. all best players on bench… Watching England hoping for 1-0 win. God its going to be super boring and mega frustrating .. For us Fans too.. piss off and out early hhhh

      You're f*cked if you're an England fan. Your manager thinks Harry Maguire is the best CB out of Raphael Varane (world cup winner, 3x champion league winner et..) and a Lindelhof that's having a top season. Some may say Eric Bailly has better attributes…

      ‘We’re either all in it together or we are not’ has got to be the most ridiculous part of the statement made here. If the fans are infuriated by a decision (whether they are in the right or wrong), then they have the right to voice their opinion. The fans can also be against your team choices yet still be behind their country Gareth and clearly Maguire is a difficult choice for some fans to accept.
      Also, saying you cannot understand why every single thing Maguire does on the pitch it being so closely analysed is because he literally plays CB for one of the most famous clubs in the world and is also the captain of that club, he’s hardly going to slip under the radar is he? I have always thought Southgate is a pretty dense guy but some of these statements take that to another level.

      Best United CB? Where's the brown paper envelope, Southgate? Stuffed in your back pocket, no doubt. This is a joke! Maguire has been awful for many years. He was won nothing. Absolutely zero trophies. He shouldn't be starting for the club, or country, in my opinion, not even in the squad for the moment. Why is he getting special treatment?
