I was quick to dismiss kiwior, merino and califiori. The first two have proven me wrong. Both have been outstanding.
A lot of the credit should also go to the coaching staff to prepare them for these matches. The details they put in. Sometimes acclimatising them into new unfamiliar positions too.
This is why Arteta is elite, even if pundits downplay him for his non-achievement. He (and his team) recognises talent and polishes them. Maybe he hasn't been able to push through the final line, but this Arsenal squad…we love all of them.
