i think Aguerd lacks defensive strength, i recall him getting bullied by prem strikers frequently under moyes — laliga is his level, especially with his technical abillity — i say get rid of him, i dont get why we always sign players who dont even wanna play for us ⚒️😭

Wasn't he out of action for some time with some sort of leg injury ? We always seem to get players that are all right for a bit then they have some major problem that knocks them out of action for months. I never think we really get the best value out of them. It's a bit like someone's unloaded a used Granada onto you knowing the autobox is on the way out. We've had all the medical bills – they should stick out for the money !

My guess to what will happen is that we either have to accept a lower amount (around £20m) or we'll end up loaning him out again. If he doesn't want to be here, it's pointless forcing him as we'll end up having a disinterested player in the squad.

When Aguerd was playing for us I always felt he was a great player but perhaps not suited to the Premier League and certainly not for a Moyes team. I think the loan worked out very well for him and for West Ham and I favour cashing in on that rather than risking him struggling in the PL with us again and his value going down but obviously dependent on what offers we get for him.
