Trent created this situation himself. He spoke of wanting to build a legacy, being captain one day its his dream to play for Liverpool. For 18 months he's been in negotiations over a new contract, that if reports are correct they wanted to make him the highest paid RB in the world. I don't understand why people make a big deal of frimpong not being a RB. He's a professional player and will be able to adapt and learn his new role.

Regarding the RB situation. Liverpool probably aren't too worried about replacing a RB who doesn't like defending with another RB who doesn't like defending?
Liverpool also have Bradley and if they're looking to go extra cheap why not go for Aina from Forest? He's available for free. I see Frimpong as being brought in to actually help Salah out? Let's be honest even though Salah still looks and plays like a million dollars, next season he's gonna get doubled up on and age is a factor unfortunately, so he can't do exactly what he was doing 5 years ago.
I was watching an interview with a guy (sorry can't remember his name, it's on YT if people want to watch it?) who used to work within Liverpool's recruitment department and the amount of detail they went into when signing players was unbelievable. It was almost like when MI5 or 6 recruit spies. So they've definitely done their homework on Frimpong… unlike a few (3) people who might make a YouTube video???
