  1. Nice presentation. I Will make a few up for next week as the rivers high and I need good floatability. Interesting and innovative techniques. Thanks from down-under in NZ.

  2. I’ve watched, fished, and tied a bunch of flies and this is the best I’ve seen. Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to try some of these.

  3. That, my friend, is the most incredible Caddis dry fly I have ever seen ! I thought my improved version was a keeper until I saw this. You have forever changed the look of my fly box for the better. Thank you .

  4. A great tie – Love the cheat with the superglue for the head as in past have pulled deer hair down and taken thread back to tie down which as I saw would affect the hackle below and then tie'd off but this combines with the flattening of the hackle using the UV resin is neater – superb! just a thought – the Semperfli dry fly poly yarn comes in caddis brown and various other colours which would further increase 'floatability' and brushes out well to give a buggy affect and can be used in a dry the same way as the Dirty bug yarn which I tend to use mostly for nymphs/wets

  5. you may be clamping your hooks toooo tight in your vice. that will definitely cause your hooks to break. What an awesome caddis pattern. It's on my next to do list.Thanx
