Honestly it’s not anger anymore, it’s just depression when I found out he was back. The only things I’m hoping for: be tactically better. Interplay from the middle, especially with Gio, and less crossing. Don’t play a static 4-3-3. Pick your best 11, and best 26. He picked his favorites from the mls at the World Cup and it backfired because they weren’t good enough. That’s all I want as a USA fan.

I agree 100% with what Davies said….. I get that Greg helped the team qualify to the WC and yes I get that we were the only team in CONCACAF that made it passed the group stage but we qualified in 3rd place, not even 2nd Mexico has been weak for quite some time. We have this pool of amazing players Greg is not the answer dude has no tactics Netherlands proved it big time, These roster mistakes he made for the WC were pretty ridiculous. Should have gotten a coach from Europe that has the silverware to back it up. We need an upgrade a better leader someone with tactics

Gregg is far from the best American coach. Guy couldn't even dominate in MLS. He had a 40% win percentage domestically.
Forget the drama. The US is a top 15 squad in the world and the most talent the US has ever produced. Why do we settle for C tier managers. Go get a manager with Euro experience. Someone with experience winning in the top leagues.
BJ had less than a month and won concacaf nations, picked the right players, the tactics were not stiff, and dominated Mexico and Canada
The truth is, we as fans/supporters are powerless, voiceless, worthless in the eyes of USSF and they will continue to do whatever they want while banking our money.
My thoughts aligned 100% with Charlie Davies… Burhalter is NOT the guy. He's a mediocre coach at best who was thoroughly out coached many times in the lead up to the world cup and against the Netherlands… Sad to see the talent pool being wasted by this guy… What kind of dirt does he have on who in the us soccer federation?

Berhalter run this USMNT like a cult with him as the cult leader. There has to be Berhalter cronies pulling strings behind the scenes to get him the job. I have no confidence he will do right for the team.
