It was a clear penalty. Idk how that was not a penalty… All A league Ref should be better with VAR.
As someone who watches all of the elite leagues around Europe – Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, German Bundesliga – the Mariners should have been awarded a penalty. That incident IS a foul and therefore a penalty. (The forward doesn’t need to have touched the ball for it to have been a foul).
