This is completely false! While Sarri did say that he didn't know Pulisic had been signed, Sarri said in an interview that he was asked about Pulisic by Chelsea's front office and was positive on him.
This may have been in a different interview that the first one where he was asked about the Pulisic signing as I believe there was a follow question(s) in a different interview.
No one thinks of him as the next Messi. We do think he will be the next Donovan.
Like I said in the past, I don't care and no one should care what country he is from as long as he performs on the pitch that's all it matters, start of the season he wasn't sharp, very rusty, but the last 3/4 games he has stepped up. I'll be the first to admit it since i was the first to say others should start ahead of him. Good game keep up the hard work

Pulisic is a great player and will start more games but Frank lampard said it best after the Burnley game, pulisic has had one week of rest from finishing the bundesliga campaign to joining Chelsea so deserved a rest, he used him when he had to like the super cup, but in the prem he needs to be 100% rested otherwise he could risk an injury that keeps him out of the team and the USA team and no one wants that. He played great yesterday but will get better and better, and that is what all the fans as well as the club want

When you start the players, off course they are going to get the chance to prove themselves. When you don't even give him a chance to start, how is he ever going to prove himself? Lets take CHO as an example, Frank can say" Oh after a bad injury CHO has to prove himself." Then Frank doesn't play him. He sits on the bench, week in week out. Then how is CHO ever going to prove Frank that he is ready? So the point is that, Frank does have a certain amount of bias. The fact that people say "Oh but Mount played in Derby and was sensational." So for Mount, you consider his performance at Derby but for Pulisic you can't bring in his performance in Germany. I get it.
