There are some things money can’t buy. Last season Chelsea bought Brighton players, manager, coaching team, head of recruitment and pretty much broke them all, finishing just above the relegation zone. Meanwhile Brighton just keep on getting gems and qualified for Europe. Now they’ve spent £25m on a good but petulant keeper.

Chelsea’s transfer strategy at this point is just to sign everybody under the sun. Now with Sanchez coming they have 46 players (41 first team players and 5 loan players) and this is after 14 players getting offloaded. If there’s no FFP, I bet they would just keep all of them and I cannot imagine the gigantic amount of players and the amount of staffs needed to maintain them. Perhaps they’ll need another stadium just to fit them all. 😅😅
