They don’t make players like Trippier much, anymore. Most go where the money is and to be fair to them careers are short and they should get their worth, but I have to respect a player like Trippier for coming to a club who had no business signing a player of his stature, he’s been an absolute legend for us and no matter where the club goes in future Trippier was the first one willing to take on the challenge and put us back on the path to being a great team again, credit to him.

This guy is already a club legend.
Of course he went there for money, not his money in terms of salary, but the money Newcastle have. The infinite financial doping capabilities of Newcastle means he can have a good chance of winning stuff through cheating and when they offer him a new deal you can bet it will be more. Newcastle like City and like PSG are cheating frauds.
Based on this interview and the way he's conducted himself on the pitch throughout his career, i think he'd make a fantastic manager. Very astute, intelligent ant self aware.
Callum Wilson has been on fire for Newcastle United in the second half of this season, a real fans favourite with the club and deservedly so.
Trippier has been immense for the Newcastle United at right back since arriving from Atletico Madrid and I feel that this is a club that suits him.
A good choice for club captain.

seriously……why is this even a huge point….. because newcastle become the richest player in the world ..its not like he is getting paid 200k per week i believe madrid would have paid him more to stay …hes a quailty right back you can tell the players who just join for money they walk around the pitch and put no effort in the game….and milk thier injury..he puts 100% in to his game….even though he knows he does not have to fight for his place..he a pure top class professioanl person and player ….even if he did just come for money SO WHAT HE EARNED IT ……for the fantastic job he done newcastle never pay top wages
