I REALLY HOPE VARANE PLAYS IN FRANCE OR ITALY! Premier league doesn’t fit his stand still bruiser block type of play style when bpl is so fast paced on the ball! If varane was at Roma or psg a team where he doesn’t have to do a thing on ball my god he would be unstoppable. Ie Real Madrid varane the talent on ball around him he only had one job to do not 3 in the prem to be a good defender you need to be quick at recovery speed and anticipation you can’t focus on a solo player and sadly that’s how he defends. Take Virgil for example similar play styles you’d think but the way Liverpool are built around vvd is a joke. Have a Rick with people covering and always taking up space it’s kind of weird but works. Virgil drift out to a winger someone will eventually come pick that play up and he will jockey back to position United are not like that one bit once your man is marked he’s marked and yours!
