This kinda reminds me of that season where Forest pretty much bought a new starting 11 to stay in the Prem. Going to be so exciting to see how all these new guys get on next season.
Still not sure he'll stay, I reckon there's possibly someone else inthe background that he fancies more, Leeds, Burnley or even back to the USA, who knows but just hope if he goes it gives us enough time to get suitable replacement.
If he has to be played as a 9, itd be better for Norwich to let him go. But, on the right as a Dirk Kuyt, he can be great.
We want a big squad allowing for injuries,what a front line we have, Matthias,ante, jurasec wide,diallo other side,josh through the middle,that's goals,goals goals,we have now got our defence sorted with another signing today,convinced josh to stay another season, another ball winner in midfield,then the premiership will be within our grasp 💛💚🇬🇫🙏🏆🇺🇲🥳

Well done Jack! I am still hoping that Josh stays. There is no doubt that he likes playing for Norwich. If the potential is reached with all our incomings, Norwich surely has a chance for promotion next season. Better yet , if Josh stays.

Sargent is a solid bloke. He is ambitious and his no1 concern is The World Cup. If he stays, happy days because he will know if he stays fit for the majority of the season he will be going to the world cup.
I think he will still go. Sadly. But I think he’s only playing in the pre season games to get his fitness up so he can be ready to go come the start of the season wherever he will be.
As an American, I follow the national team situation. I think Poch simply doesn't fancy Sargent, and maybe he (Sargent) decided it was extremely unlikely that he could change the manager's mind. I hope he doesn't go to Burnley or Leeds. It will be difficult to impress Poch due to the difficulty in scoring goals with a promoted team. Liam Delap is kind of an outlier, isn't he?
I assume if hes pulled out that means he knows a Premiership team wants him. But hopefully the new American owners have buttered him up and hes actually staying and we can have a good season.
Why can't the transfer window close before the season starts. Also if a contract is signed they see it through. That way everyone knows what they have and get on with it. 🫣Just saying.

I have a feeling he will leave. Burnley and Leeds would be poor choices because newly-promoted sides struggle in the PL.
I think Josh has seen the good deals done and perhaps decided he wanted to be part of the Norwich future.

Schlupp is a very good player to have in the championship. Very experienced at some good clubs. 1 year makes sense to me…bit like when we picked up marcondes on a free.

Under the old regime the players were always sold for less than the current market rate. The new regime will be much better.
How can you say Delia saved us.. we were a European football team before she came along, yes we had financial crisis in 96, but we've been on the decline ever since.. even to the point we've ended up in tier 3 of english football.. no matter what happened after that, is embarressing to say the least, as a premier league founding team.. we absolutely should be up there with the West Hams and Newcastles.. but greed always stops us from progressing, it more often than not trips us up.
I don't think Leeds or Burnley will pay 20m I think that money could be spent better elsewhere.
If I were a football club trying to sell its top talent & the deal fell through I'd totally want to push out a narrative that it was the player's choice rather than the club not wanting to pay the sort of money I was asking.

Pape diallo whipped under noses of watford whos pace is a match for huckerby and 🇸🇳 athletic and wont give up and unpredictable plundering in 1 goal out of approx 2x appearances.
Sargeant, i could see him going to leeds or burnley, but, he looked engaged and happy in dutch tour, and antanssio (usa link) and is ultimate pro, family man, manning given sarge captaincy and i trulyhe stays snd may have committed for further 12mths OR leeds (released Bamford) and his wages may come in but have to be careful of financial fair play rules. Burnley – its step up for josh and arguably deserves prem move.
The more junior players fit in the gap that will appear when Josh turns his ankle over in the fourth game of the season 😉
