Horvath was MOM in my opinion. At least Pelly was not a passenger like he was on Saturday – obviously not match fit though. Need to play a back 4 if we can.

The rapidity of games and our increasing injury list is having a slight impact… we do look a little bit jaded at times, but so did Reading who started the season very well. The four weeks break for the World Cup could be a blessing as far as getting our players fit again. Sonny looks like he'll be out for a long time, Lockyer left the field after a clash of heads which means he won't be able to play for seven days at least: that's the Blackpool and Stoke game missed. Bell will still be suspended.We have an ever increasing injury list… still, 18 games 26 points (one more point than we had after 18 games last season)…
If we played Reading every week, we wouldn't have a team left! The ref failed to penalise backing onto players, holding & going to ground at the merest contact. If Carroll didn't win the ball he'd drop & look for a foul. Cornick wasted far too much possession but we lacked fluidity & didn't look like scoring.
