  1. This is what happens if you are arrogant thinking you are going to be an instant legend at the club, calling JT to ask if he can have his No.26 shirt

  2. Agents are ruining the game. I remember many years ago Jack Rodwell was doing well for himself at Everton but City, under then manager Mancini, bought him and he ended up spending two years on the bench collecting money. Bad career move which set him back, not financially, but football development-wise.

Kalvin Phillips for example. Who advised him that leaving Leeds United, where he was playing almost every single game, for Manchester City, where he would struggle to find a place even on the bench, would be a good movie for his development? If City didn’t plan on integrating him fully into the squad and if Pep wasn’t keep on him, why didn’t stop the transfer? It’s not like he was starving for money at LUFC.

  4. The main target of Chelsea should have been Caicedo not Jackson we midfielders cos our midfielders were all gone so i think our signing should have been Caicedo

  5. If this guy is being bought as a starter then the attacking lineup could be something like:

Mudryk/Sterling – Nkunku – Jackson – Madueke in whatever arrangement

    Um, yay?

When you add in players like Enzo (a 100m flop), Kepa (the most expensive and worst keeper in the world), fullbacks who can't stay fit, it doesn't really inspire much confidence.

How can a club spend so much and have such an underwhelming team?

  6. I'm surprised at how quickly they picked up on him in England, this was his breakout season at Villareal, he had a great 2nd half of the season, hardly established though but incredible potential. He is a mobile striker deadly if you feed him through balls on the counter not so much if you want him as a target man, I hope they play him for the striker he is instead of something he is not.
