I agree on Saffold. Not enough of an upgrade if at all.
I like the quick reaction videos, short and sweet, PFF numbers and realistic possibilities of our interest and then potential ability to sign them.

LDT will be are guard this year and then jd will draft someone. Thats the best way to go imo. Ldt great depth knows the offense and cheap. Jd will draft a zion Johnson or a guard in the 4th. Lots of good guards this year
Landon at LB would be great in a 4-3. Him and Fred Warner body types are pretty similar
we need to bring in either Collins or Williams.
I think saffold is a fallback g (one of the better ones) if JD doesn’t get what he wants in FA. And I don’t like Landon Collins at all in the safety roll, but I wouldn’t mind seeing that type of signing where the jets take a hybrid S and make him strictly play linebacker

These guys got cut for a reason. Performance has something to do with it. Let's focus on upgrading. Changing positions at 28 not a good idea. Especially if it costs $7M. The OL was OK last year. Can be better if the big guy returns. What is a 33 yr old OG going to do? Let the Dr. work that spot for now.
Saffold doesn't make sense for us, he would make sense for a Cincy.

I mentioned Saffold to GreenBean but then thought after dude is ancient in age. GM Joe aint gonna pay what he wants and we do not want that anyhow. We need a guy here at least 3 to 4 years so 28 29 is the oldest i would sign.
