Matt Ryan by far had the better career. It’s not particularly close. Getting a SB is great but that’s a team accomplishment and the stats aren’t comparable over their careers. Joe was incredible during the sb run ofc but so was Matt on his run. One just had Ray Lewis and Ed Reed while the other had the 29th ranked defense against a peak tom Brady led patriots team (#1 ranked defense and MVP level tom)
If you look at the all time stats Matt Ryan is one of the best QBs ever
Flacco. Ryan has the numbers and the MVP, but he also had more around him on offense and his team built around him on offense. Flacco was a much better big game quarterback in the regular season and the postseason.

If their stats were comparable I would see the argument for Flacco but Matt Ryan’s stats absolutely obliterate Flacco’s it’s such a big difference that the ring does t really matter. Ring culture is really ruining sports debates I bet yall would say you’d rather have Flacco than Dan Marino too😭
