If Tyler had been able to play 80% of all the games after the 2022 World Cup for club and country, he would probably be starting for one of the top 4 clubs. And I'm not trying to make a Landon Donovan comment (e.g. Agyemang and Arfsten). He reminds me a bit of N'golo Kante, a constant motor, making the tackles that hurt, the runs no one wants to make. Much like Kante, he's not a goals or assists guy, but he'll be involved in the build up. He makes any team he plays on better. Now one thing that separated Kante was he was able to remain healthy and that's a huge credit. But all I'm saying is if Tyler retains this form and is fit for the world cup, he could be an unexpected difference maker for the US. Unexpected to the world, but expected to US fans who have been following him since his NY Red Bull days.
