Robbie, I'd happily settle for Coquelin and Arteta until the end of the season if it means we go all out for Morgan Schneiderlin in the summer. He's a perfect fit. Proven premier league player, still only 25, French connections with Wenger and some of the players. He also possess the ability to start attacks from deep with his intelligence and passing, something i don't think Carvalho offers.

I must confess I did not watch Carvalho last season but after the noises about him I decided to watch sporting Lisbon as much as I could and after 8 games and a bit my verdict sadly is as much as I don't think Arteta and Flamini are good enough Carvalho will not cut the mustard either..
I am not trying to be harsh but I just haven't seen the brilliance intelligence physicality and athleticism etc that we are looking for… I even watched a derby match and he was poor….just as annoying was the fact that rather than watching arsenal I was keeping tabs him at the chelsea game rather than watching our game! sadly he was a passenger there too!…the bottom line is that the EPL will be too fast for him..he looks slow in thought and action…
The destroyers are the easiest to find and cost least at £25m it seems such a collossal waste based on 81/2 games watched…the creators i.e strikers and Aattacking MF's..
For now I will stick with Coquelin and revisit the CDM in the summer….just get a CB..besides why spend so much now when we don't have a genuine chance of winning the league this season?..

Reading some of these comments is hilarious. Apparently we should go for a massive transfer swoop by getting lacazette, Bender, Wanyama, Hummels and Laporte. Why the hell would wenger buy all these players, this isnt fifa. We will be lucky to get one player. Maybe will sign someone like schar or the polish kid, but no world class player. Anyway, i hate to say it but Coquelin is playing really well. Hes got more experience in the bpl than cavalho. Not saying i would complain if we got him!

Just a thought; falcoe is available at £40 (buyout clause I think), he's itching to impress in the prem and would love to play in the championes league, drastic improvement on giroud,only problem is wages and his love for money. WE Should Stick with Coquelin until the Summer and than do all we can to sign Schneiderlin because there is No better Option than Schneiderlin because He would be Perfect. For me the best DM alongside Matic
arteta's too slow and not a physical presence. flamini is like a pitbull whose been let off his leash, has attitude but cant play football for shit, dont think he knows what passing is just yet. mertesacker is a joke, cannot run and anyone with the slightest bit of pace could make a mockery of him all game long. gibbs and koscielny are solid. debuchy should not even be competition for bellerin who is great defensively and has pace on the wing. we need a solid centre back and DM at the moment also a keeper as sczcesny is a good shot stopper but always makes stupid decisions we need cech. so glad sanogo is gone… for now the guy would miss an open net. we need a physical dm and cb. Just solved arsene's problems in one comment the guy is stuck in the past you have to fork out the cash to win titles simple as, this is evident look at all the teams with silverware last season doesnt take a fucking genius to figure that one out
