Come off it. The penalties gave no advantage to either team. It was split evenly 9/9 and they happened at crucial points against both teams near equally.

Melbourne don't fatigue easily and play extremely fast plays of the ball. The Sharks rely on their big fellas to get through games and aren't nearly as quick as the plays of the ball. Their big guys would have been gassed from defending with no stoppages.

People talking about how strong the Broncos fitness is are missing the fact the Storm started top loading their training about 6 weeks out from the finals. This was part of the reason they struggled a little in some of those games. But it was all to get them primed for the finals run. Bellamy knows how to do this.
