Raheem Sterling plays 10x better than Andy Carrol and yet he is still 16 years old
Saturday vs Barnsley, and Dalglish has the oppurntunity to bring sterling, suso, morgan and coady into the first team squad. This could have been a time to give these talented young players a chance of some much needed experience. But no, forget about developing the club's life blood, we'll just overpay for average domestic talent (LOL!) instead.

The two really aren't comparable. He plays 50x better than Downing though, and hopefully Brenden Rodgers will give him a few premier league games next season to see if he can do this in the big league.
