W, i've been stalking your channel all morning looking for this review. I currently am playing with a blade 100 v9 with wilson element at 52 and I want some more power, does this play similar to the blade? Do you think I should switch?
Also when possible, can you make a Dunlop SX300 racket review please?

I have to say… this is the most spin friendly racquet I’ve used and I chuck it up to the 16×18 open string pattern
Haven't tried the v5's yet, but have always been a Pro Staff fanboy since the v2 (1990) 5.5 si….and with that being said, recently switched to the Ultra Pro v4 18×20. If you're looking for a racquet where you can generate your own power, want a bit more forgiveness than the 95 sq. in. racquets I'm used to and has good feel, control and can swing without always overhitting…..the UP v4 is a gem. In stock form it sucks at net, but I added 5 grams total to 10 and 2 and now it does everything well…..and does finesse volleys quite well since it's not a very powerful racquet. Wilson actually made a new version of an Ultra Pro v5 like the previous Ultra Pro v4 (thin beam, smaller head, etc), but it's not for sale in the west…..Japan/Asia only it seems. Not sure why Wilson does annoyingly stupid crap like this, but Wilson, if you're reading this, here's a big middle finger.

Have been playing with this racquet now for a couple of months. Truly is excellent, i play a eastern forehand aggressive baseliner / counter-punching game and found this racquet has got ample power and precision for those defensive maneuverers that are needed. Plently of power for put away shots and good spin for tighter angles and for net clearnance. Only issues i had was that the high stiffness is jarring it times and makes the racquet feel very boardy. Ive got a tecnifibre tfight 305s coming so im keen to compare.

I switched to this racket from the Blade 98 V8 / Pro Staff 97 V14 and I found the Ultra Pro 99 to be more powerful and overall more fun to play with 🤩👍🏻. But you have to find the right string setup and tension, otherwise the main strings are constantly moving all over the place leading to poor control. Other than that it's a great stick wirh a nice direct feedback and even fast enough for my one handed backhand 😄

Grisha, this racquet is very string-sensitive, so if you find a string that works well with it, you’ll have a very forgiving racquet! I bet with you? Just try it and you will see.
