Truly unwise decision to continue having these tournaments outdoors. Obvious humidity issues that are putting the players at risk.. huge oversight by the PSA that has to be fixed..
Yesterday i was dissapointed, today was just as bad. The poor standard of the courts, the poor quality of the accoustics in the commentary box and the standard of the refereeing have all been pretty sub par. I dont think i like the best of three setup either as it probably favours asal and his theatrics.
Isn't it amazing that in spite of all the obstacles, we still get to watch these highlights at no cost to ourselves? Keep up the good work PSA SquashTV with a big shout out to everyone who's working remotely to make all this happen for us.

1:10 cmon now, Ali. That’s just disappointing. I don’t care if you’re down 6 points, you can’t make a mistake like that at your level.
It's absolutely horrible to see how the players are being hampered and put into danger of injury by the state of the court. You can clearly see the players having to put a lot of effort into limiting their movement as not to slip and pull a muscle. I'm sure it's nice to have an outside venue like this, but this is no fun to watch.

Looks like I am first person to suggest Ali intentionally tanked the match to make sure Marwan does not qualify. The Shorbagy brothers clearly fixed their match (just watch the replay yesterday and listen to the commentators) resulting in it being impossible for Ali to qualify, so Ali retaliated by letting Asal win and ensuring Marwan does not qualify either

Farag just gifted the match to asal. On a regular day he would have had asal mopping the floors- or mopped the floors with asal
Looks like there is malevolence afoot with the M&M game yesterday……..not a good thing at all to see in this sport. And that court surface was a shocker for Makin and Momen.
Good that the disgraceful refereeing of yesterday wasn't a feature today……….but the highlights of the Farag Asal clash didn't tell the full story did it.

Time for the PSA to be replaced with a new competition that pays players properly, gets proper refs and doesn’t endanger players. And moves the centre away from Egypt. The game is international and the tour should reflect that. PSA is not serving squash well.

Can anyone explain the No let at the end of game 1 for Coll v Marche? Stroke every day in my book. When did squash get to a point when an experienced player like me cannot understand the pro rules????
The bullshit from Asal never ends.
He’s def a potential world #1 but What an embarrassment to squash at the high level, how do we expect to get outsiders interested in the game when they act like this. does the game no favours at all! No wonder it can’t get into the Olympics.
I wonder if there's some way to build a court with a perforated floor (tiny holes) and a vacuum fixture pulling the air down and through (they're sprung so there's already a little space) which pulls away the air constantly and prevents humidity from coalescing into actual moisture? (adds to the cost I know)
