No thanks on Maignan. He is super injury prone and his salary demands are too big. Get a sporting director asap to resolve this Yildiz thing now, as even that finishing school Arsenal are onto him plus Chelsea. If Madrid wants I am only comfortable if we get Guler and Endrick in return, or the first and Rodrygo as we cannot trust Comolli on a sale worthy of his abilities. Swap deal is safer. It will be like for like in terms of quality and age bracket.
Problem is not the goalie, but the defenders.
There’s no reason to change goalkeepers right now. Unless Donnarumma or someone of that caliber is available and wants Juve, there’s no need. We are fine with DiGregorio and Perin. In fact, we’re lucky to have a backup that would start on most other teams. It’s the defense and midfield that needs to be sorted out asap.
Edit: I do like what you said abt getting Maignan on a free and using the funds from DiGregorio for other positions in theory. But like you said, that’s prob not the direction they’re going in and in that case, this makes no sense. Also, I’d rather have DiGregorio than Maignan atp.
