If it’s down to the club then it’s madness they haven’t offered him a good enough contract, even if till the end of the season.
Why oh why are we letting this top bloke go. After witnessing our woeful defending against Cambridge he should walk into this side and is head and shoulders above any of the rest even if he hasn’t played for almost two years.His inspiration and leadership could have been the catalyst for the turnaround we crave. If he’s been passed fit just cannot understand why we’re letting Locks go

Ahem, I'm not crying, you are. Tom Lockyer, Luton Captain. What an amazing guy, both as a man and as a player. Have often thought that if he had not suffered that 2nd heart attack at Bournemouth we would still be in the premiership. But to say we all wish him well as Luton fans is a massive understatement. Hopefully we'll see him back at the Kenny some day soon.
What a boy, what a leader, and another one of our incredible group departs. May he live a long and very happy life. Thanks for the memories.

He could always get another luton contract
Seems a very odd decision to let him go. Clearly we don't know about the "politics" behind the scenes and presumably there are insurance premiums etc at work. But I'd assume we've paid his salary for the past years/months. On a purely economic basis, you'd think you'd want to get a bit of return. Whatever, bean counters at work probably. In spite of all that, it seems a shameful decision to let a player like Tom go. Never met him but he seems one of the genuine gooduns. Wishing him all the luck and fortune he deserves and huge thanks for everything he did for LTFC.
How have we neglected to offer this man a coaching contract? Utterly ridiculous to lose someone who loves the club as much as he does.
What a missed opportunity to have given him a short term contract. Just the sort of player we currently need.
