An Aussie contributing to Hearts winning the Scottish Prem would be a great European story to break up the monotony of Celtic dominating that league with the exception of an occasional Rangers success. I'll always remember Scott McDonald almost singlehandedly costing Celtic a championship when he scored twice at the death for Motherwell in a 2-1 win which allowed Rangers to win the championship by a point.
Irvine should be straight back in the Socceroos once he is fit again.
McGree needs to be looking for a January loan move to ensure het plays enough to come under Socceroos selection consideration for the World Cup.
